We Want to Hear From You!

At Marx Entertainment we always want to learn about the experience our customer has had with our company. It’s important to learn from our customers - the good, the bad and the ugly – even though the bad and the ugly are terms we quite frankly are not accustomed to. J Regardless, it’s very important for us to learn, grow and continue to get better overall.

So here is the question for you… HOW CAN WE DO BETTER?

A lot of companies are worried about finding new customers, they forget about what it takes to keep their current ones. Not for us, we want to be the first thought in our customer’s mind when they need services for weddings, DJ’s, parties, game rentals, photo booths, etc. – Or when someone asks, hey do you know of a good DJ? We want their first response to be, YES – Marx Entertainment.

Our number one concern is our customer and our number one goal is to provide the best entertainment service possible. For that reason, we never assume and we always deliver on the expectations set forth. That requires a trained, courteous and professional staff -and we’re proud and grateful to possess such a wonderful team.

Please take a moment and share what you think worked for your event or what could have worked better. Everything you share will truly help us improve and again, that is our main priority.

C’mon let loose - let us know your thoughts, comments and suggestions. You can post below, post on our Facebook page or send us an email.

We appreciate your time and your feedback!

THANK YOU!

Do you know how to plan a successful event?

After 3 decades of being in the industry and watching some of the best intentions fail, we think you should keep these 7-steps in mind when planning your event.

1. Plan your event at least 12-months in advance of your target date.

2. Ask yourself these questions - What is your purpose? What kind of atmosphere is desired?

3. Create a budget (and more importantly, stick to it when you strategize, hire and book).

4. Establish a date and the number of guests you would like to attend.

5. Pick the right venue and take time doing so. Explore, visit many and then decide.

6. Figure out the type of food you want to serve. We suggest you start with local caterers and discuss your options with them. This is one pallet-pleasing experience you’ll surely enjoy.

7. Hire an experienced and dedicated company for all of your entertainment and audio visual needs. An entertainment company that truly “gets it!” We hear Marx Entertainment is pretty damn good! J

Why choose Marx Entertainment for your event?

Because we not only believe in this information, we live this information. It’s how we operate; it’s how we roll.

7. Will your wedding disc jockey need to be fed at your wedding?

8. Does your wedding DJ have a request form for you to fill out?

The DJ's and Entertainers at Marx Really Know How To Put On A Show!

Marx Entertainment has had the privilege to work for countless of outstanding clients and know there are so many more to come.

One of the greatest and most rewarding aspects to the company is the multiple charity events we are involved in. We recently provided the production and entertainment for a charity event for the Ronald McDonald House. Marx DJ's, who are also members of the Gala Committee for the charity, participated and hosted a Murder Mystery Dinner. Not only did we dress the part, we played the part...what a blast!

Beyond charities we also specialize in weddings, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, school and corporate events. We have the capabilities and experience to offer professional photographers and videographers. Marx also offers plenty of cool visual effects to enhance any party. One of our most popular extras is the photo booth rental, a unique way to add excitement to any occasion.

Social events are another great passion of Marx Entertainment. May 6, 2011 we are celebrating Cinco de Mayo with an event called "Four on the Floor" at the Delaney House in Holyoke, MA. This special night offers couples the opportunity to refresh their dance steps, eat, drink and have a memorable time. Reserve your spot today and come party with us!

We have a lot of exciting upcoming events that we will share with you, so be sure to check back here.

Book your event now or ask us all about our different party themes- we are here to help make your event one your guests will never forget.

Thank you to all that continue to support us, we look forward to the next 30 years!

Planning the Perfect Wedding Reception with Marx Entertainment

Everyone knows that planning a wedding is one of the top stressors in life. For that reason, it’s important to work with a company that can literally run events in their sleep. Translation: Marx Entertainment has emceed over 5000 wedding receptions and can assist you in every part of your event.

The Company’s professional guidance and support guarantees that you’ll have the perfect ceremonial music, receive lively introductions, sentimental bridal dances and entertaining cake cutting. In addition, we offer a vast array of music to accent your special day.

The bride / groom should never have to worry about how the DJ is going to perform; they should be able to trust their skill and get what they pay for. We all know a bad DJ is like having a bad clown at a kid’s party – they can make or break it. Our DJ Entertainers are experienced and energetic and they know how to keep the party going so that you can relax and have the time of your life!

If you are looking to have a wedding next spring, Marx suggests that you begin planning now and follow the below steps:

  1. Lock down a venue.
  2. Call us at 1.866.MARX-DJS (627-9357) to set up a free consultation.
  3. Come into the office and meet one of our talented DJ Entertainers.
  4. Once there is an agreement set in place, it’s time to prepare a blueprint for your special day.

We treat every wedding as if it was going to be our own and in fact, if we didn’t, we wouldn’t still be in business after 3 decades!
